Holding something against someone can be like a heavy weight that you carry around on your back. You can ignore it and pretend it will go away eventually, but the more you keep it in, the more it drags you down and makes you a miserable person. It’s hard to forgive, no doubt about it. But the release and healing you experience from doing it will be life-changing. So take that burden that you’ve been keeping and lay it down at the cross, the place where forgiveness will lighten your load and free you to live in God’s best.
