There’s always that one family member that makes life difficult. And with that comes our sense of responsibility to somehow solve the problem. We either ignore that person and their activities, or we pour every ounce of ourselves into somehow turning that person around. Either way, we end up creating a more unhealthy situation than when the issue first presented itself.
But it is possible to be the shining example of love, forgiveness, and grace that can only come from knowing Jesus and walking with Him. You may not be able to solve the problem, but you can be the person that gives that loved one someone to which they can aspire. Trying to be a superhero is hard, but the true reward comes from being a superhero in the eyes of those your love.
