This time of year, we tend to make promises to ourselves in the form of new year’s resolutions. Some of us stick to the program and stay on that track. Others (like myself) find the daily routine and the temptation to lapse back into old habits too much to resist. But those who accomplish their resolutions ultimately change their lives for the better.
In our daily walk with Jesus, we need to prepare ourselves for the journey. A diet of Bible reading, praying, and allowing ourselves to be in the presence of God will not only make us stronger followers: it will help us to decide what is good and avoid what is not. And you don’t have to eat salad everyday to make it happen!
