Christmas is done. The crumpled wrapping paper has been thrown away. The new gifts have already been put to their first task. And the leftovers are probably taking up a lot of room in your fridge. So what do we do now?
Every year, the end of Christmas always seems like a cut off point, a time where things get back to normal. But this year, and for years to come, let’s not allow that to happen. Sure, you can take your tree down and put away the decorations. But the one thing we cannot afford to pack up is our awe and wonder that God actually came down to earth to be among us and ultimately save us. Let that sink in. Some say that they wish Christmas could happen every day of the year. This is possible if we continue to allow that good news to live in all of us.
