Make a DifferenceOUMC Taste of Ooltewah Booth

We are partnering with D9 to host our community in Cambridge Square for the Taste of Ooltewah. Join us for this great event, and take a moment to think about volunteering. OUMC will have a premier booth providing free tote bags and information about our church for the community. Let Pastor Will know if you are available to help distribute some of these bags to the community or would like to volunteer to help setup and run our booth. Contact Pastor Will at wconner@oumclive.org.

Event Details

D9 proudly presents the Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Cambridge Square, Tennessee. D9’s motto is Eat, Shop, Live, and Educate in Ooltewah and Harrison and this tradition is a fantastic way to put our motto into reality. The Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison provides an opportunity for people to sample and buy 30+ locally owned restaurant’s menu items and provides an opportunity for locally owned specialty shops to market their store to potential buyers. This tradition is a great way to showcase our wonderful community while benefiting the five local public elementary schools, which are Harrison Elementary, Ooltewah Elementary School, Snow Hill Elementary, Ooltewah, TN, Wallace A. Smith Elementary, and Wolftever Creek Elementary.

Tickets will be sold to exchange for food samples, horse back riding, and the petting zoo. Tickets will be $20.00 for 10 tickets. Taste samples will range from 2 tickets to 5 tickets depending on the size of the food sample. Tickets are now for sale online HERE or you can buy tickets at selected locations through April 30th. Of course, you can always buy your tickets at the Taste as well. We are truly looking forward to this event and enjoying our community while raising money for our public elementary schools in Ooltewah and Harrison!

*Rainout date is Sunday, May 15th.
