In this day and age, we have every right to be afraid. With so much happening in our country and in our world, it makes you think twice to just step outside the door of your own home. And it’s not just for ourselves: we fear for our children, for our loved ones.
This anxiety can have the potential to rule our lives and determine our actions. In a nutshell, fear can keep us from living. But ask yourself this: isn’t there a God who is more powerful than your fear? Does that God love you so much (and He does) that He watches over you 24/7? Things might not go the way you plan or hope, but rest assured, God has you in the palm of His hand. Why should you fear, when God is near?
